Universal Studios Hollywood Is A must See For The Southern California Visitor
Did you know that Universal Studios Hollywood is the only theme park in the world that is also a working movie studio? It's also one of the top three destinations for the Southern California tourist along with Disneyland and California Adventure. On March 15, 1915, Universal Studios founder Carl Laemmle opened his 230-acre Universal City ranch located just north of Los Angeles to visitors. For just ¢25, visitors got the chance to walk around his outdoor movie studio and be witness to movie production. Today, Universal Studios Hollywood offers not only the legendary “Studio Tour,” but also heart pounding rides, shows and attractions that put you inside some of the world’s biggest and most exciting movies, including classics like Jaws and King Kong. Transformers, the 3D ride is the park's latest addition. For all this excitement, of course tickets are no longer just ¢25. Today, be prepared to spend upwards of $92 just for admission.
For your next visit, following is a “must see” list of attractions and shows at Universal Studios.
